Why GigTag

Whichever one you were looking at, here is what a GigTag gives a live act.

  1. 01

    One code, printed once

The QR code on your tag never changes. Update your gigs, your songs or your links and the same tag in your bag still opens the right page.

  2. 02

Nothing for the audience to install

People point their phone camera at the tag and your page opens in the browser. No app, no account, no waiting while the dance floor is busy.

  3. 03

    Requests in a live queue

On Pro, the room picks from your song list, or asks for anything if you open requests, and each choice lands in a queue you can read between songs.

  4. 04

The next booking, from the same scan

A booking enquiry form is on the free plan, and GigTag takes no commission on bookings. On Pro you send an invoice in your own design that the client pays online.

  5. 05

Your dates, saved to their calendar

Your next gig and every weekly residency sit on the page behind the tag, and a fan can add one to their calendar on the spot. All on the free plan.

  6. 06

Solo, duo or band, one account

Each act has its own page and its own permanent code, band members can join, and on Pro you keep more than one act on the same account.

Tips by card or Apple Pay, straight into your own Ziina or Stripe account, and GigTag takes 0%.

Questions

Before you choose

Each comparison is written from the other product’s own site and says honestly when you are better off using both.

Is GigTag free?

Yes, there is a free plan with no card needed. It covers one act: your custom tag design and print file, your page, your links, every gig and residency, and a booking enquiry form. Pro adds song requests, tips, invoices and more than one act.

Do I have to stop using the tool I have now?

No. Many of the tools on this page do a different job: finding clients, holding your charts, selling your records or running your bio link. GigTag is what you add for the gig itself, and each comparison says plainly when to keep both.

Does my audience need an app to use GigTag?

No. They scan the tag with their phone camera and your page opens in the browser. Requesting a song, saving a gig to their calendar and sending a booking enquiry all work without an app or an account.

Where do tips work with GigTag?

Everywhere. Fans tip by card or Apple Pay straight into your own account: Ziina in the UAE, Stripe in every other country. GigTag takes 0%. Requests, bookings and invoices work in every country too.

Why is the tool I use not on this list?

We add tools as musicians ask about them. Send the name through the contact page and we will read its site and write the comparison.
