GigTag for karaoke hosts
No more slips of paper in the pint glass.
A karaoke night is a queue. A GigTag on the host's table lets singers send their song from their seat, lets you see the queue in order and keeps your whole week of nights on one page.

The problem
The queue lives on slips of paper
Slips get lost, doubled or put in the wrong order. Half the room has forgotten whose turn it is, and the host spends the night as a clerk.
People who would sing if it were easier stay in their seats. Making it easier fills the stage.
What GigTag does
One code, four jobs done for you
- Pro
Requests from the table
A guest scans, types their song and sends it. Open requests let them choose anything, and your list keeps it to the tracks you have.
- Pro
A queue you can read
Requests arrive in order. Mark each one played and it clears.
- Pro
Tips for the host
People tip the host who keeps the night moving, by card or Apple Pay. A request can carry a tip.
- Free
Your whole week
Monday at one bar, Thursday at another. One page lists every night, so regulars can find the next.
A night with GigTag
Thursday karaoke
The tag is on the host's table and on a few tables around the room. By 9pm there are twenty songs in the queue. You call names, and play the track.
A group of colleagues asks about doing a night for a work party. They use the enquiry form while they wait for their turn.

Questions
GigTag for karaoke hosts: your questions
Does it run the karaoke tracks?
No. It is the request queue and your page. The tracks still run from your own karaoke software.
Can singers put in more than one song?
You decide what to call and in what order. Each request in the queue is one song, and you mark it played when it is done.
Is it just for bars?
No. It works equally at private parties, which is what the booking form is for.
Can I turn requests off between rounds?
Yes. Requests have an on and off switch.
