GigTag

GigTag for corporate and private-event acts

The enquiry should arrive with the date, the venue and the headcount.

Event work is bookings, quotes and invoices, and each one starts as a vague message. A GigTag page puts an enquiry form in front of the people who ask about you, and an invoice you can send when the answer is yes.

  • Enquiry form with the details you need
  • Invoices paid by card online
  • A tag for the evening

The problem

Three emails to find out the date

An event planner writes, hoping you are free in March. You reply with questions. She replies with half the answers and a different date. You ask about the venue and the sound.

By the third email you know what you needed to know in the first, and the client has a poor idea of how organised you are.

What GigTag does

One code, four jobs done for you

  1. Free

An enquiry that asks the right things

Event type, date, guests, venue and details. You get it as one message, with everything you need to quote.

  2. Pro

    Invoices in your own design

Send a deposit or balance invoice that looks like it came from your business. The client pays online by card through Ziina or Stripe.

  3. Free

A page the client can show their boss

Photos, videos, links and a bio on one clean page, whether you are a band, a magician or a dancer. A planner can send it on without attaching a PDF.

  4. Pro

    A tag at the event

Guests request songs, follow your page and can ask about their own events (an agent can keep each act's page ready to send), when the client is happy for you to take requests.

A night with GigTag

A company dinner for 150

The planner found your page from a colleague's recommendation, read it on her phone and sent the enquiry form. You quoted that day, she accepted, and the deposit invoice was paid within the hour.

On the night, a senior guest asks who you are. A scan later he has your page, and in the new year you are asked about their summer party.

Set up

Ready before your next gig

  1. 1

Write a short bio aimed at planners, and link two or three videos.

  2. 2

Publish the page and share its link when you reply to enquiries.

  3. 3

Connect Ziina or Stripe on Pro so invoices can be paid online.

  4. 4

Decide with each client whether requests are on.

Free: your page, links, gigs and residencies, and a booking form. Pro adds song requests, tips, invoices and more than one act. Tips go straight into your own Ziina or Stripe account, and GigTag takes 0%.

Questions

GigTag for corporate and private-event acts: your questions

Can I send a quote and an invoice?

You reply to the enquiry yourself, with your quote. Once it is agreed, Pro lets you send an invoice they can pay online.

Does GigTag find me corporate clients?

No. It is not a directory or a marketplace. It makes the clients who already know of you easier to deal with.

Can I use my own branding on invoices?

Yes. Invoices are made in your own design.

Will the client see GigTag branding?

Your page is in your own colours and fonts, with your name on it.
