GigTag

GigTag for dancers and fire performers

A hundred phones filmed you. Not one knows how to book you.

Dancers and fire performers are filmed constantly and credited rarely. A GigTag gives the people watching a page to follow, and gives the people who want you at their event a form that asks for the date, the venue and the space.

  • Portfolio of photos and video
  • Booking form with the details
  • Invoices for deposits

The problem

Filmed by everyone, found by nobody

You finish a fire routine on a beach terrace. Forty people filmed it and posted it with no mention of you. The hotel manager says he would like to use you again, and he writes it on a napkin, which he loses.

Event bookings for dance and fire are practical: stage size, ceiling height, safety, music, timings. A message that starts with only a date wastes a day of replies.

What GigTag does

One code, four jobs done for you

  1. Free

    A portfolio that moves

Photos, performance videos and links to your socials on one page in your own look. An event planner can see the act before they ask.

  2. Free

    Your venues and regular nights

List a weekly show at a venue and every one-off date. Guests can see when you are next on.

  3. Free

    An enquiry form for events

Event type, date, guests and venue come in one message, so you can ask about space and safety once, knowing the basics.

  4. Pro

    Tips and deposit invoices

At a venue or in the street, a guest can tip by card or Apple Pay into your own account. Pro also sends deposit and balance invoices for booked work.

A night with GigTag

A hotel terrace on a Saturday

The tag stands on a small plinth by the performance area, with a line on the venue's menu card. After the show, guests scan it, follow your page and watch the longer video.

A wedding planner sees the post and sends the enquiry form. You reply about the space, then send a deposit invoice.

Questions

GigTag for dancers and fire performers: your questions

Do I need a stand for the tag?

A small stand or plinth helps. You can also print it on a card or on the venue's table cards, with the venue's agreement.

Can people request a routine?

No. Requests are for music acts. Your page is your portfolio, your dates, bookings and optional tips.

Does GigTag find me bookings?

No. It is not a marketplace. It makes it easy for people who saw you to book you, and for planners to see what they would get.

Is it safe to leave a tag near a fire act?

Place it well away from the performance area, as you would any prop. That is your call and the venue's.
