GigTag

GigTag for kids' party entertainers

The children are the audience. The parent is the client.

Singalong leaders, children's musicians and kids' party DJs are booked by a parent who has a phone in one hand and a cake in the other. A GigTag gives that parent a short route from enjoying your show to booking you.

  • Enquiry form for parents
  • Deposit invoice
  • Your party dates on one page

The problem

The decision-maker is standing at the back

At a children's party the little ones are not going to book you. The parent who has already arranged the room, the food and the guests is the one deciding whether to ask for your number, and she is busy.

Parents also compare, and they want clear dates, a clear deposit and a clear invoice they can show a partner. A tidy page and a simple form do more than a flyer lost in a party bag.

What GigTag does

One code, four jobs done for you

  1. Free

    A form a parent can answer one-handed

The booking enquiry form asks for the date, place and age group, so a parent can send it between games. You see it at once on your phone.

  2. Pro

    A deposit invoice

When the date is agreed, you send an invoice, and the deposit goes to your own Ziina or Stripe account. GigTag takes 0%.

  3. Free

A page that shows what you do

Your songs, photos, party length and your links in one place, so the parent can show a partner. Add your public sessions as gigs or weekly residencies.

  4. Free

A party or two to follow

If you run a weekly children's session or a library hour, list it. Parents can put it in their calendar.

A night with GigTag

A Saturday afternoon party

At the end of the singalong, you say once that your details are on the tag by the door. There are no requests, since a four-year-old is not going to type a title.

That evening a guest's mother scans the code from her photo, reads your page and sends the enquiry form for her daughter's party in March. You reply and, once the date is agreed, send the deposit invoice. If you also host weekly nights for older kids, a karaoke host uses the same approach.

Set up

Ready before your next gig

  1. 1

Write what you offer in plain terms: length, age range and how many children.

  2. 2

Add photos and a short clip that a parent can show a partner.

  3. 3

Leave requests Closed. Parents are the audience for the page, not the children.

  4. 4

Connect Ziina or Stripe so you can send deposit invoices.

Free: your page, links, gigs and residencies, and a booking form. Pro adds song requests, tips, invoices and more than one act. Tips go straight into your own Ziina or Stripe account, and GigTag takes 0%.

Questions

GigTag for kids' party entertainers: your questions

Do the children use it?

No. The page is for the parents and carers. There are no accounts or apps for children.

Can parents pay a deposit through GigTag?

You send an invoice and the parent pays it by card, to your own Ziina or Stripe account. Invoices are a Pro feature.

Is there anything to worry about with children's data?

GigTag does not collect anything from children. The enquiry form is for a parent or carer to fill in, and you should treat their details with care.

Does GigTag find me parties?

No. It is not a marketplace and does not find clients. It makes it easier for the parents who have seen you to book you.
