GigTag for wedding djs
From the first enquiry to the last song, on one page.
A wedding DJ runs three jobs at once: the booking, the ceremony and the party. A GigTag handles the parts around the music, with an enquiry form for the couple, an invoice for the deposit and a request queue for the guests, so you can keep your head on the room.
- Enquiry form for couples
- Invoices paid online
- A request queue with your rules
The problem
A hundred and fifty people, one booth
Before the day, a couple sends details in a mix of DMs and emails, and you rebuild the booking from a thread. On the day, the couple has a do-not-play list, the grandmother has a request for a waltz, and the groom's friends keep coming over with their phones out.
The ceremony, the dinner and the dance floor each need something different. You can handle all of it, as long as the requests arrive in one place you can read and not at the same time as the speeches.
What GigTag does
One code, four jobs done for you
- Free
An enquiry form with what a quote needs
The couple gives the date, the venue, the guest count and the timings. It lands as one message, so you can reply with a price and a hold, and not a list of questions.
- Pro
Invoices for the deposit and the balance
Send the invoice in your own design. The couple pays it online by card into your connected Ziina or Stripe account, and you see it marked as paid. GigTag takes 0%.
- Pro
A list mode and an Open/Closed switch
Guests send suggestions. Use your own song list, with the couple's choices in and their do-not-play titles left out, or open requests for the party. Close the queue for the speeches and open it again for the dance floor.
- Free
A page the couple can show people
Your clips, your socials and your photos on one page. They can send the link to their planner and their parents, who will look before agreeing to anything.
A night with GigTag
A Saturday, ceremony to last dance
Four months ago the couple scanned your tag at a friend's wedding and sent the enquiry form the next morning. You replied that day and the deposit invoice was paid by the weekend. On the day the tag stands on the booth with a card that says scan to request.
During dinner it is closed. When the dance floor opens, so does the queue: your list, the couple's choices and a few open slots. By midnight a guest has asked who you are, and the tag answers. For the live musicians on the same day, see wedding bands.

Questions
GigTag for wedding djs: your questions
Does GigTag work with my DJ software?
No. It does not connect to Serato, Rekordbox or any other software. It is a page and a queue on your phone, so it works with whatever you play on.
Can I ban some songs?
Yes. Use your own song list so guests can only choose from what you will play. Open requests accept any title, and you can decline any one of them.
Does it find me weddings?
No. It is not a marketplace. It makes it easy for couples and guests who already know of you to read your page and send an enquiry.
What about the ceremony?
Leave requests closed for it. The tag only matters again when you open the queue for the party. For the daytime mix see DJs.
