GigTag

GigTag for venues and restaurant managers

Guests ask who is playing. Let the act answer.

If you book house acts, guests ask who is on tonight and when they are back. When each act has a GigTag, the answer is a scan: the act's page shows your venue's nights, and it works without you or your staff.

  • Acts list your venue's nights
  • Guests find the line-up
  • No cost to the venue

The problem

The same question, all week

Staff are asked who the singer is, whether she plays on Friday and if she does weddings. They guess, or they point at a poster that is a month old.

Meanwhile the acts you book are good at playing and not always good at promoting. A guest who liked the set has nowhere to go and the next night is quieter than it should be.

What GigTag does

One code, four jobs done for you

  1. Free

A page for each house act

The act's page lists its nights at your venue as a weekly residency, with the time and place. Guests see them and add them to a calendar.

  2. Free

    A tag on the stage

Ask acts to set their tag on the stand or the table. Guests follow the act, and your venue's nights are on the page they land on.

  3. Free

    The act's booking form

A guest who wants the singer for a birthday or a wedding asks through the act's own form, not through your staff.

  4. Pro

    Tips straight to the act

Guests tip the act by card or Apple Pay, and the money goes to the act's own account. The venue does not handle it.

A night with GigTag

A Friday at a hotel lounge

A cover band plays the lounge on Fridays. Its tag is on the stand, and a printed sign at the host stand says scan to see this week's act and next week's. Guests find the line-up without asking at the bar.

Mid-week the same page shows the weekly club night in the bar downstairs. The venue's evenings are easier to find than the poster by the door.

Questions

GigTag for venues and restaurant managers: your questions

Is GigTag a venue management system?

No. It is the act's tool: their page, tag, booking form and tips. It does not manage your rota, bookings or sales.

Does the venue pay?

No. Each act has its own account. Acts get a free page, and tips and invoices are on Pro.

Can one page show every act at my venue?

Not as one venue page. Each act's page lists its own nights, and you can print a sign that points guests to the current act's tag.

Does it take a cut of what the act earns?

No. Tips go to the act's own Ziina or Stripe account and GigTag takes 0%.
