GigTag for rappers and mcs
The crowd just heard you. Give them somewhere to go.
A rapper on a stage and an MC on a DJ night both have the same problem: three minutes of attention and no way to hold it. A GigTag puts your music, your socials, your tip link and your booking form behind one scan.
- Your music links on one page
- Tips from the front row
- A booking form for events
The problem
A great set that leaves no trace
A rapper opens for a headliner, and in fifteen minutes a hundred people go from not knowing the name to wanting more. They cannot take a picture of the stage and find the artist. By the time they search, the name is a guess.
An MC on a DJ night has a quieter version of it. The crowd loves the energy, but afterwards there is no easy way to find the host, tip them or book them for a private event.
What GigTag does
One code, four jobs done for you
- Free
One page for your music
Link your streaming profile, your videos and your socials, with a short bio and a photo. The page is free, and a scan is quicker than spelling out a name over the sound system.
- Pro
Tips from the front row
A fan scans and tips by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay straight into your Ziina or Stripe account. GigTag takes 0%.
- Free
Booking for events
Brand nights, birthdays and festival bills all ask the same questions. The enquiry form collects the date, the venue and the brief. Pro adds invoices for the deposit.

A second act for the booth
If you MC for DJ nights as well as performing your own music, add each as an act and switch which one the tag opens. At a DJ night it can share the booth with the DJ.
A night with GigTag
A support slot and a DJ night
Friday, you open for a headliner at a club. The tag is on the merch table and on a card at the edge of the stage. During your last track you say the page address and, after the set, forty people scan. Eleven follow your music links and two tip.
On Saturday you host a DJ's set at a rooftop. The tag opens your host act this time, and an event organiser asks about hosting a launch party. The enquiry arrives with the date and the room, and you answer from the car.

Questions
GigTag for rappers and mcs: your questions
Does GigTag host or distribute my music?
No. It is a page that links to your music on the platforms where it already lives.
Do people request songs from a rapper?
They can. Turn on your song list or open requests if it suits the show. Many artists leave requests off and use the tag for tips, links and bookings.
Can I use it as a hype host for DJs?
Yes. A host can share a booth with the DJ and use their own act for tips and bookings. See saxophonists and instrumentalists with DJs for the same pairing set-up.
Will I need an app, and will my fans?
No. Fans scan with their camera and use a web page.
