GigTag for open-mic performers and hosts
Three songs, then everybody forgets your name.
An open-mic slot is short and the room is mixed. A GigTag lets the people who liked your three songs follow you before you leave the stage, and lets a host keep the night's page and its next date in one place.

The problem
A slot that ends before anyone knows you
You play at 9.40 to a room that is mostly other performers and their friends. If someone likes it, they have to remember your name and find you later.
Hosts have a different problem. The night runs weekly, but the people who enjoy it do not have a place to see when the next one is.
What GigTag does
One code, four jobs done for you
- Free
A page for your slot
Say your name, play your three songs and point at the tag. The page has your music, your socials and your next gig.
- Free
A page for the night
A host (or a school running a showcase) makes an act for the night, lists it as a weekly residency and adds the venue and the time. Performers and the audience can find the next one.
- Pro
Tips if you want them
A listener can tip by card or Apple Pay, and it goes to you. Many open-mic players leave this off at first and add it later.
- Free
From open mic to booked gig
The booking enquiry form is there when a bar owner in the room wants to know if you play for money. Poets and comedians use it the same way.
A night with GigTag
Tuesday open mic
You play three songs. After the last one you say your name and that the tag is on the stand. At the bar, someone scans it and follows your page.
Two weeks later the host announces your first paid slot, which came through the booking form.

Questions
GigTag for open-mic performers and hosts: your questions
Is it worth it before I have any gigs?
Yes. The free plan gives you a page, your links and a booking form, which is what people look for when they like you.
Can a host use it for a night with many performers?
Yes. Make an act for the night and list it as a weekly residency. Each performer can have their own GigTag too.
Do I need to print a tag?
You can print it yourself from the file, or have one made. A phone screen with the code works for a single night.
Can people request songs at an open mic?
Requests are on Pro, and they make more sense for a regular act than for a three-song slot.
