GigTag for church and worship bands
The same faces every Sunday. One page for the whole band.
A worship band plays to a loyal weekly congregation, usually with a rota of volunteers. A GigTag gives the band one page for services, rehearsals and special events, with tips available as an option if the church wants them.
- Services as weekly residencies
- One page for the band
- Giving only if the church chooses
The problem
A loyal audience that still asks where and when
Everyone in the building knows the Sunday time. It is the special services, the Christmas concert, the youth night and the outreach event that people lose track of, and the band is often a rota of volunteers who each know a different half of the plan.
Tips and giving are a sensitive subject, and the choice belongs to the church. If a tip button is wanted, it can be offered as optional, and it goes to a Ziina or Stripe account connected to the band, not to GigTag. GigTag takes 0%. If the church would rather not, it is simply switched off.
What GigTag does
One code, four jobs done for you
- Free
Every service, as a residency
Add the Sunday services and midweek nights as weekly residencies. Anyone can put them in their calendar, and special services are added as one-off gigs.
- Pro
One page for the band
Your music, your links and your volunteers, with one place to find the next event. A Pro band act lets each member join with their own free account.
- Pro
Optional giving
If the church agrees, a tip button lets people give by card or Apple Pay to the connected Ziina or Stripe account. It is fully optional and easy to leave off.
- Free
Enquiries for weddings and events
Outside the church, couples and community groups sometimes ask the band to play. The booking enquiry form collects their details.
A night with GigTag
A Sunday service and a Christmas concert
The tag sits on the welcome table, not on stage, and the band says nothing about it during worship. After the service a newcomer scans, adds the weekly service to her calendar and sees the Christmas concert on the list.
A volunteer from the congregation asks if the band could play a family wedding. She sends the enquiry form from her phone, and the band leader answers after the rota is checked.

Questions

Do we have to offer tips or giving?
No. It is a switch, and many churches leave it off. If it is on, it is optional for everyone.
Where does the money go?
Straight to the Ziina account (UAE) or Stripe account (elsewhere) that the band has connected. GigTag takes 0%. The church or band decides who owns that account.
Can volunteers join and leave?
On a Pro band act, each member joins with their own free account. The band leader decides who is on it.
Should congregation members request songs?
Only if you want them to. Requests can stay Closed, and they are only suggestions in any case.
